Packing

You either love it or hate it, but packing is the most important thing for traveler. Read some essential items that need to be taken.
Packing

packingStudents often have lack of money and this can be advantageous when traveling. It's often good to take little and inexpensive replaceable items with you, especially when backpacking.

Look through the important items that need to be taken and kept safe:

– That little book called a Passport
– Travel tickets
– Accommodation vouchers or addresses
– Credit card and bank account details/cash
– Travelers cheque numbers
– Insurance certificate and contact details
– Driving licence if you wish to hire or buy a clapped out car to drive along the great ocean road.
– Inoculation certificates
– Visas and/or work permits.
– Condoms and tampax if you think you might need them unless you know how to ask for them in other language.

packingIt is advised to take a photocopy of important documents and keep them safe and separate from the originals so you will have an emergency copy if you loose the real McCoy. You may also leave the photocopy of your bank details etc to a friend or relative. It is desirable that you do not travel with it.

Hand baggage allowances range between airline companies; most limit you to one bag weighing a limit of 5kg. And you cannot have with you the following items: guns, knifes, any cutting or puncturing instruments, mace, pepper spray, teargas, explosives, aerosol cans, flammable liquids or solids, darts, catapults, Hypodermic Needle or anything else incriminating and that includes those knitting needles.
