The application process is specific for every country and may take weeks or months, so start in advance of time. Check with your study abroad adviser if the country you are visiting requires a visa. You will necessitate your passport to apply for your visa, so it is so significant to apply for your passport early. The visa process may take more than a few weeks as well. You may not leave your country without a visa, so do not apply at the last minute.
